Chloe Jang

Chloe is delighted to be a part of Arts & Skills Collective, where she volunteers as a Marketing and Program Coordinator.

Her goal is to contribute to the betterment of mental health in our community. Personally, she finds solace in the mountains and cherishes the art of hiking. She feels there’s something profoundly calming about the great outdoors, especially amidst lush greenery. She is excited to bring this passion to our community’s wellbeing.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional territories of the peoples of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot First Nation tribes of Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Stoney Nakoda First Nations tribes of Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. The city of Calgary is also homeland to the historic Northwest Métis and to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. We pay our respects to the Elders, past and present, and extend our gratitude for their wisdom and teachings.

As settlers, we are committed to reconciliation, understanding, and building positive relationships with the Indigenous communities. We are humbled by the privilege to call these lands home and will never take it for granted.

At Art and Creative Skills Collective, everyone is valued and respected. We stand with the 2SLGBTQI+ and trans community, creating a safe and welcoming environment for all. Our doors are open, and our hearts are welcoming to all.
